Momentum
needs just a single moment
The single, most productive tool I have ever used is momentum.
Where once you start, everything seems to go right.
What is Momentum?
Momentum feels incredible and you may also know of it as the mental state of flow.
Where you are mentally immersed in your projects with a sense of energised focus, full involvement, success and feeling unstoppable.
Difficult challenges become easier, you notice strange coincidences (serendipity), you become luckier than usual, and you seem to attract opportunities.
You feel switched on, plugged in, and energised to go; and everything you seem to commit your mind and energy on, seem to go well.
With momentum, your mind is in an enhanced state of productivity.
Quick inspiration
Qi broadly translates to the 'natural energy of life', and here is a quote on momentum to get you energised and inspired; some Qi for the Mind:
A body in motion tends to remain in motion,
a body at rest tends to remain at rest Isaac Newton
The Power of Momentum: Jay-Z
Shawn Carter, better known by his stage name Jay-Z, is the most financially successful hip hop artist in the world.
Whilst watching an interview of the music maestro I was surprised to learn that Jay-Z never writes his lyrics down; instead he would listen to the beat of the track, step into a recording booth... and flow.
Once Jay-Z starts, he uses that single moment to create the momentum to produce smash hit music records.

With momentum, we feel better and perform better
Writers use momentum to blast through creative blocks. Leaders use momentum to inspire. Innovators use momentum to drive changes in the world.
I wanted to write this page to highlight the power of momentum and to introduce an attitude to momentum, which I will be exploring and writing more about:
Momentum, starts with a single moment Chung Nguyen-Le
Coming soon: A series on how to use and turn moments - into momentum.
